Description

With the blue'Log XM/XC and VCOM, meteocontrol offers a seamless interaction of power plant control and monitoring. The communication between these devices is constantly improving.  

If blue'Log XC cannot act as the main power plant controller, meteocontrol provides a feature that allows the VCOM and blue'Log to be used as the main monitoring components. With the External PPC license, you can monitor Power Control data from a third-party power plant controller (PPC) with blue’Log and import it into VCOM.

Features

• Monitor a third-party PPC using blue’Log and VCOM.

• The available data depends on the PPC used. Check the VCOM import specification for available values.

• Calculate yield loss due to curtailments (power control).

• Include third-party PPC measurements in VCOM’s Performance Ratio calculation.

Requirements

• blue’Log XM/XC

• Firmware ≥ 24.3.12 

• Device must be compatible with blue’Log. See Compatibility Check.

• 557.013 External PPC blue'Log XM/XC license. The license is issued for a specific blue’Log XM/XC. When ordering, provide the 14-digit hardware serial number of your data logger.
