Exchange memory card

This article describes how to exchange a memory card (SD card) if your memory card is lost or faulty.

Warning

The memory card must not be removed while the blue’Log is in operation.


Prerequisites

  • Firmware 14.x or higher on your blue'Log XC/XM

  • Ensure that a configuration backup was downloaded from the blue'Log or is available in VCOM

  • Any memory card with SDHC standard and a maximum capacity of 32GB is suitable. (We recommend industrial grade.)

  • Ensure the SD card is formatted to the file system Ext4.

  • Ensure that the write protection of the memory card is deactivated.

Steps

  1. Power off your blue'Log.

  2. Remove the old memory card if necessary.

  3. Insert the new memory card.

  4. Restart the blue'Log.

  5. Perform a factory reset. See Backup and restore.

  6. Upload the configuration backup file.
