Power control (Hybrid EMS)

The content on this page refers only to the blue'Log XC combined with the Hybrid EMS licence.

Power control: basic approach

If you want to operate your blue'Log for power control purposes, the following is one possible setup workflow. If you do not carry out the steps in this order, power control may not function properly. 

1. Configure plant data for PV, battery, or both.

   • See Plant data (Hybrid EMS).

2. Plan your master-slave setup.

   • See Controller operation (Hybrid EMS).

3. Configure active power and reactive power (if applicable).

   • See Active power (Hybrid EMS) and Reactive power (with Hybrid EMS).

4. Activate power control.

5. Check one of the following to confirm that power control is working properly:

   • Power Control > Overview

   • Cockpit > Charts: Select the relevant values and view them in the chart.

Caution

Activate the Power Control toggle at the top of the page ONLY after you have fully configured your power control setup.
