Change your password
Steps
Navigate to the Account security page. To get there, you have two options:
Select your avatar in the tool bar, then select Account > Account security.
Or select Account security in the footer of the Security info widget on your dashboard.
Under Password select
Change.
Re-authenticate yourself with your user name and your current password.
Set and confirm your new password.
Select Change password.
Your new password is set now.
Recommendation
You can optionally sign out from all your devices here. We recommend this to avoid being signed in with two different passwords by mistake. See also Monitor your signed-in devices.
Reset a forgotten password
Prerequisites
You have access to the email address that is connected to your account.
Steps
Any time you are asked for your sign-in credentials, you can select Forgot password?
Type in your Username.
Select Reset password.
You will receive an email with the password reset request. Select Reset password in this email. You will have 15 minutes to do so. Afterwards, the link will expire and you must restart at step 1.
Note
If a two-factor authentication (2FA) is set up for your account, you will have to renew this as well now. See Set up an authenticator app.
A page will open in your browser. Set and confirm your new password.
Select Reset password.
Your new password is set now and you are signed in automatically.
Recommendation

Prompted password reset
Your organization’s user manager or admin can initiate a password reset for your account if necessary. Usually, they will inform you about this action in advance or you can request this action from them.
Warning
If you are unaware of any prompted password reset but receive an email to perform this action, contact your organization’s user manager or admin before selecting any links or buttons in that email.
Prerequisites
Your organization’s user manager or admin initiated a password reset for your account and you are aware of that.
You have access to the email address that is connected to your account.
Steps
Select Reset password in the email you received. You will have 5 minutes to do so. Afterwards, the link will expire and you must contact your user manager or admin again.
A page will open in your browser and you will be informed about the actions you must perform now. Select Confirm your action.
Note
If a two-factor authentication (2FA) is set up for your account, you will have to renew this as well now. See Set up an authenticator app.
Set and confirm your new password.
Select Reset password.
Your new password is set now.
Select Return to portal and sign in with your new credentials.
