Delete a user

Note

• Only admins or managers can display and use these user management functionalities. See Permissions.

• But you can not apply these user management functionalities to users with the user role admin. Contact our support if you want to apply user management functionalities to admin users.

You can permanently delete users from the users list of your organization. You can delete them one by one or several at a time.

Delete a single user

Prerequisites

• User role admin or user manager.

Steps

1. Navigate to the Users page. To get there, you have two options:

   • Select your avatar in the tool bar, then select Users.

   • Or select All users in the footer of the Recent sign-ins widget on your dashboard.

2. Select the Options menu in the line of the user you want to edit.

3. Select View profile > Delete user.

4. Confirm with Delete again in the pop-up window.

The user is now permanently deleted within mc Cloud and within the user managements of the meteocontrol applications they had access to. No notification mail will be sent out to them.

Delete several users at a time

Note

You can delete a maximum of 50 users at a time.

Prerequisites

• User role admin or user manager.

Steps

1. Navigate to the Users page. To get there, you have two options:

   • Select your avatar in the tool bar, then select Users.

   • Or select All users in the footer of the Recent sign-ins widget on your dashboard.

2. Select the users you want to delete:

   • Only specific users: Select the corresponding  Check boxes in the lines of the users you want to delete (users with the user role admin can not be selected).

   • 50 users at a time: Select the general check box above the list. The check boxes of all users will be marked (except for users with the user role admin). You have to check the general box page by page, as the boxes will not remain checked when switching pagination.

3. Select  Delete above the list.

4. Confirm with Delete again in the pop-up window.

All selected users are now permanently deleted within mc Cloud and within the user managements of the meteocontrol applications they had access to. No notification mail will be sent out to them.
