Learn how to activate your account initially and how to sign in to it.
Browser recommendations for mc Cloud
In general, we support the usage of the following browsers. Make sure to use browser versions that are still actively supported by the vendor and that did not reach end of life (EOL):
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Microsoft Edge
Chromium
Recommendation
We recommend using the browsers Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox for the best performance.
The following browsers are not supported, which means we do not provide support if you experience problems using them:
Safari
Opera
Internet Explorer 6-11
Samsung Internet
QQ Browser
Activate your account
You need to have a personal account to use mc Cloud. Usually, your organization's admin or user manager will create an account for you. You will receive an email with the option to activate your account.
Warning
If you are unaware of any account creation but receive an email to perform this action, contact your organization’s user manager or admin before selecting any links or buttons in that email.
Prerequisites
You have received an email invitation or a valid URL to activate your account and you are aware of the account creation.
Caution
The activation link will be valid for 7 days. After 7 days, your account will be deleted automatically. Your organization’s admin or user manager must recreate the account, and then a new activation link will be sent.
Steps
Select Activate account in the invitation email.
A page will open in your browser, and you will be informed about the actions you must perform now.
Note
If a two-factor authentication is required for your account, you must set this up now. See Set up an authenticator app.
Select Confirm your action.
Set and confirm your password. The password must consist of at least 10 characters.
Warning
Take notice of our Password guideline, when setting a password.
Select Reset password.
You will receive an email to verify your email address. Select Verify email.
A page will open in your browser. Select Return to portal.
Your account is activated now and you can sign in with your new sign-in credentials.
Sign in to your account
Prerequisites
You have activated your account.
Steps
Fill in your sign-in credentials on the Welcome page. If you forgot your password, see Reset a forgotten password.
Select Sign-in.
Note
If two-factor authentication (2FA) is set up for your account, you must enter the one-time code from your authenticator app now. See Manage two-factor authentication (2FA).
You are signed in now and will arrive on your dashboard.
