Create a CMMS report
Last modified:
As O&M manager, provide stakeholders with structured data and maintain a clear record of maintenance and repair activities with CMMS reports.
After the technical team has completed a work order, you can create a report from their results. Choose your corporate styling from templates, configure individual output fields, and download the reports in PDF format.
Note
You can create a CMMS report at any time as soon as the first form or checklist has been sent and synced with VCOM. Reports can also be created after the work order has been closed.
Steps
You can start creating a CMMS report in two ways:
General reports area in VCOM: On the
PORTFOLIO LEVEL, select
Report >
CMMS reports. Select
Select form to choose the form(s) to include in the report.
Work orders portlet: Navigate to the relevant work order in the Work orders portlet. Select
Report. All relevant forms and checklists will be preselected.
The report configuration opens. Configure your report on the left side.
Styling: You have two options to configure the styling of your report.
Use template: Select
Select template and choose a template. The input fields will be pre-filled. See also Configure CMMS report templates.
Configure manually: Upload a company logo, choose its position, set text and background colors, and add footer text.
Decide whether your report should have a Cover page, Table of contents, or Footer by ticking the corresponding check boxes. Configure these sections to your needs.
Output: Tick the checkbox Configure output if you want to show or hide specific fields from the forms or checklists in the report. Select
Visible or
Hidden as needed.
View a Preview of your configurations on the right side.
To change the included content, select
Select form to choose or add more forms or checklists.
When you are done configuring your report, select
Create CMMS report. A PDF file will be created and saved on your computer.
Note
CMMS reports are not stored in VCOM. Save the PDF to your personal storage. You’ll need to recreate it if edits are required later.
Select
Cancel to exit the report configuration.
