The simulation model estimates yield loss by comparing expected and measured power. The measured value is subtracted from the simulated value, which ignores any power control values. You can define how the expected power is simulated in the system configuration. This model serves as a fallback when other calculation models are unavailable.

If an irradiance sensor is installed on-site, the automation is triggered within 15–30 minutes after data import. If no sensor is installed, satellite data is used, which is generally only available the day after. The automation is then delayed until the irradiance data is processed (<24h).
