About the flat-rate billing last measurement model
The flat-rate billing last measurement model is intended for systems using power control. It uses the last average measured power in kWh during the last 15 minutes before the curtailment. For data sources with 5-minute intervals, the calculation uses the average of the 3 most recent power values before the curtailment.
This calculation method can be used, for example, by energy traders as an alternative to Flat-rate billing. In Germany, it is also referred to as “Redispatch 2.0” or “Vorviertelstd”.
PrerequisitesFor the model to be selected, the following data must be available:
-
The relative active power setpoint value of any source.
Interval
-
The default interval value is your data logger's measurement interval.
-
For systems with multiple data loggers, the shortest interval is used.
-
To ensure a 15-minute interval is used for the calculation, select 900 sec in the Calculation model parameters.
Example
A transmission system operator (TSO) requires this calculation method.
