We recommend the following guidelines for naming devices, subsystems, and other items to avoid confusion and errors.

Do

check mark Use names that are as short as possible but as long as necessary.

check mark Use clear designations that describe the function or location.

check mark When numbering devices or subsystems, ensure the number of digits used is consistent (for example, Inverter 01 instead of Inverter 1).
