Manage pricing scheme to see the real value of your asset’s production.
With pricing schemes, you can automatically calculate the revenue of your energy production and the losses for each asset. Accurately reclaim curtailments from your grid operator or energy trader or state insurance claims for technical failures.
Create multiple pricing schemes for different periods and use either fixed or variable energy prices on a monthly basis.
Create a pricing scheme
Prerequisites
You are the organization owner or an admin.
You synced a VCOM account to mc Assetpilot. See VCOM sync.
Steps
In platform view, select an organization level from the side bar and select the domain tab
Pricing schemes.
Tip
To apply the same pricing scheme to multiple assets in one branch, create the pricing scheme for the asset on the branch's top level and choose to Use this pricing scheme also for all sub-assets in a later step.
Select +New pricing scheme.
Enter a Pricing scheme name and the Start date and End date of the period in which the pricing scheme is valid.
New input fields appear.
Select the Type of the pricing scheme:
Fixed: Select the fixed type if only one energy price applies for the whole period you entered.
Monthly: Select the monthly type if you want to enter different energy prices per month for the period you entered.
Tip
Create separate pricing schemes for different periods if you want to apply different fixed prices, or both fixed and monthly prices.
Caution
Multiple pricing schemes must cover a continuous period and therefore must not leave any time gaps. Otherwise the corresponding widgets will not be displayed correctly.
Depending on your previous selection, enter the fixed or monthly energy Price(s). The currency is determined by your currency settings. See also Currencies.
Caution
Verify your prices using reliable knowledge sources:
Optionally choose to Use this pricing scheme also for all sub-assets.
Info
Pricing schemes will not be used for sub-assets that already have their own pricing schemes.
Select Create.
Your new pricing scheme appears in chronological order in the list of pricing schemes.

Edit or
Delete a pricing scheme.
Caution
When editing an “inherited” pricing scheme on a sub-asset level, it will become unique and lose the connection to the parent’s pricing scheme.
