Description

BLUE'LOG The Device events portlet provides an overview of events for devices connected to your data logger/data sources.

Prerequisites

  • To display information in the portlet, you must be using one of the following data loggers/data sources:

    • blue’Log

    • Growatt API

    • Chint API

    • Fusion Solar (Huawei) API

Note

If you want to import device events from another source and the data is available through API, contact Support. We will get back to you with further information.

Portlet properties

System portlet: The portlet can be added at the SYSTEM LEVEL.

Dynamic portlet: The portlet is updated when you select a different system name from the systems list.

BLUE'LOG ONLY Actions on the blue’Log interface:

  • You can configure which alarm types are sent to VCOM under Alarm/state configuration.

  • You can view the list of events (= error/state messages, alarms) that can be generated by the individual devices. The contents of the list will vary depending on the specifications of each device.

  • To view the list, go to Devices > Inverters (or other device) > Installed devices > Tick the relevant checkbox(es). Select Download events to download the list.

Shows status of event:

  • Open

  • Closed

Severity (device-defined)

Displays severity of event.

Note

You can find further information on the general functions of a portlet under Portlets.

Example

Communication failure or device startup/shutdown/standby mode:

  • You can sort and filter events according to criteria such as components, error codes, duration, and severity. The Severity filter reflects the severity as defined on the devices themselves, and not from Smart Alarms.

  • If the device manufacturer has provided recommended actions, these will appear in the portlet.
