Prerequisites-
You set up your battery as subsystem. See Add a battery subsystem.
Charts displaying battery data
Note
Battery PCSs have a different operating pattern than PV inverters. Therefore, VCOM treats them differently. You will not find your battery PCSs in the regular Section: Inverters for PV inverters.
At system level in the tab Evaluation, the following charts give you insight into your battery performance:

Tip
Additionally, create user-defined charts or heatmaps with battery KPIs and data points, see User-defined charts and heatmaps. For chart and heatmap examples, see User-defined battery charts and alarms.
Portlets displaying battery data
At System level , the default Battery tab contains the following portlets to let you view your battery data at a glance:

System diagram portlet set to display the Power flows chart

System diagram portlet set to display the battery’s AC energy chart
Tip
Additionally, create user-defined tabs and add your own selection of portlets. See Create a tab at system level. For dashboard examples, see User-defined battery dashboards.
Alarms triggered by battery data points
Set up the following alarms for your battery:

Battery state of charge alarms: Receive alerts for your batteries if they are charged or discharged outside the recommended state of charge.
Tip
Additionally, set up user-defined static or comparison alarms triggered by battery data points. For alarm examples, see User-defined battery charts and alarms.
Battery KPIs, terms, and data points

Battery KPIs are available as dedicated data points and can be used to create user-defined charts and heatmaps for advanced battery analysis. See FCE/Full cycle equivalent KPI for battery units and Availability KPI for battery units.
