Prerequisites

You set up a system, including its data logger/data source. See Set up a new system and Data sources / data logger.

Your data source is online.
Note
If you want to add a stand-alone BESS to VCOM, you also must set up a main system, including a data logger/data source.
Steps

Connect your battery on site.
After the regular transmission interval, the battery devices, such as racks or modules, appear in the Other devices overview. See Transmission interval and Other devices.
