SCBs/String combiner boxes

Overview

View and edit the string combiner boxes of your system at the SYSTEM LEVEL under icon-database-insert.png Data sources > [Data source name] > String combiner boxes. Depending on your data source type, this may look slightly different than in the example below:

Name

Name

Edit the name of each SCB. Save your changes.

Serial number

SCBs serial number.

Inverter

Assign each SCB to the inverter to which it is connected.

Actions

    • Edit each string’s name/Designation.

    • Edit each string’s Scale factor/Normalizing factor.

    • Tick or untick the checkbox to set a string’s activity status to Active or inactive. Data of inactive strings is not imported and therefore not monitored or included in smart alarms.

Replace SCB

Replace an old SCB with a new one. Carry out the on-site replacement before saving it here on the configuration page. So that the new SCB appears in the list of replaceable SCBs.

Save

Save all your changes.

Configure the strings of your SCBs for string alarms

Prerequisites

  • User group technical customer or higher

Steps

  1. At SYSTEM LEVEL , go to icon-database-insert.png Data sources > [Data source name] > String combiner boxes.

  2. For each SCB, select image-20261026-095701.png Details.

  3. Verify that an appropriate Scale factor is used.

  4. Verify that the checkbox for Active is ticked for the strings that should be operational.
