System reports

System reports allow you to flexibly design report templates based on available data (variables) and generate reports for individual VCOM systems. System reports replace the legacy OpenOffice reports.

Get started with these main steps:

Note: Limitations

  • You can only generate reports for your own assets and assets shared with you.

  • If a variable does not exist for a particular system, the field will be blank in the generated report. Example: If your template includes the VCOM Forecast chart variable but your system does not have the VCOM Forecast module, no image will appear in the report.

  • Currently, only some battery data can be displayed in reports. Battery KPIs and user-defined charts are not yet available.

  • Reports include only fully completed intervals. Daily reports contain data from the previous day, weekly reports from the previous week starting on Monday, and monthly reports from the previous completed calendar month. For example, you can only generate a monthly report when the full month has been completed.
