Reactive power

Last modified:

Reactive power control is a fundamental function of the power plant controller, ensuring voltage stability and grid code compliance at the grid connection point. The bluelog Neo controller enables the power plant to support secure and efficient grid operation by actively providing or absorbing reactive power. This is essential in grids with a high share of renewable and inverter‑based generation.

About the reactive power controller

The bluelog Neo reactive power controller has three separate parts. The simplified functional principle is depicted below and explained in greater detail on the respective pages.
