General cabling requirements

Last modified:

Notice

Data cables must be separated from live power supply cables by means of a metal cable support system in accordance with DIN EN 50174-2: 2018-10.

Shielding

The cable shielding may only be grounded at one end of the connection.

The table below lists recommended cable types for wiring the individual system components as well as restrictions.

1) This cable is suitable for laying in the ground in a conduit. Repeaters must be used for longer cable lengths.

2) A hub is required if multiple separate cables of this length are used.

3) A power supply of 24 V DC is required.
