Safety instructions

Safety instructions warn of dangers when using the devices and explain how to avoid them. The safety instructions are classified according to the severity of the risk and are subdivided into four groups:

Danger

Imminent danger

Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.

Warning

Possible danger

Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.

Caution

Hazard with low risk

Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.

Notice

Hazard with a risk of material damage

Failure to comply with the warning notice will lead to material damage!

Other instructions

Warning

Information relevant to cybersecurity or actions that can lead to data loss or the malfunction of a complete system. There may also be a risk of long-lasting damage.
Ensure that everything is done 100% as described.

Caution

Information relevant to actions that can lead to medium to low-impact problems or the malfunction of parts of a system.
Double-check your actions.

Note

Additional information that is not safety-relevant but can deepen your understanding or answer common questions.
