Description

The bluelog Neo comprehensively records key metrics from your renewable energy plant. It also provides various interfaces and functionality for power plant control, thus serving as the central component for grid-compliant feed-in. When used in conjunction with VCOM, the bluelog Neo transmits all recorded data to the Cloud monitoring platform for in-depth analysis.

Monitoring and control licenses

The Monitoring functionality monitors connected devices and signals. It can function as a slave device in a master-slave setup involving multiple data loggers.

The Control functionality is required to carry out active and reactive power control. It can function as a master device to send signals to slave devices. Up to 50 slaves per master are possible.

 By default, the bluelog Neo can monitor:

  • 100 devices 1) 2) 3)

  • 0.2 MVA maximum AC apparent power

1) Status via multi/digital inputs do not count as devices.
2) If tracker mode is activated on the bluelog, you can query up to 250 devices. In this case, you can only configure the device types tracker, sensor (max. 10), and status DI internal.

3) Monitoring license: monitor 100 devices. Control licenses: monitor and control 30 devices.

Feature extensions

The functionality of the bluelog Neo can be extended with the following optional licenses.

  • Licenses are linked to a specific bluelog Neo serial number and can not be used for any other device.

  • Licenses have no expiration date.

  • Within the scope of a repair (RMA), you can request to transfer your existing licenses from the defective device to the replacement device.

  • To order a license, contact meteocontrol order management. If you already have a bluelog Neo, provide the 14-digit hardware serial number.
