  3. All the necessary terms will be created automatically.

  4. Select Recalculation of terms and enter the period for which you want to calculate the newly created terms. Select the period for which all the necessary meter data is available. If the recalculation period exceeds 1 year, you must perform another recalculation.

  5. You can find the corresponding chart under Evaluation > System > Self-consumption.

Troubleshooting: import and export are reversed in self-consumption chart

Problem

The “reference arrow direction” on your data logger or meter has been incorrectly configured. This causes the power transformer to reverse the values for import and export and results in an incorrect self-consumption chart.

Solution

  1. Tick the check box Change import/export direction under System configuration (Wrench icon) > Calculations > Terms > Term editor > Self-consumption.

  2. The Self-consumption chart should now be correct.

Note
Alternatively, you can correct the configuration on your data logger or meter, or ensure the power transformer is connected properly. If using a blue’Log, see Meters. However, please note that the historical data will still be incorrect in this case.
