Communication loss alarms
Last modified:
Communication loss alarms reflect the loss of communication between VCOM and the data loggers on site. You can choose the monitoring period and define the alarm severity. A communication loss does not necessarily mean a yield loss, but this is an incident you will want to investigate. The longer the communication loss, the higher the severity of the alarm.
If the communication loss occurs outside the defined time range, the alarm will be triggered once your defined time range begins.
Example
Based on the settings in the screenshot below:
If a communication loss occurs at 3 AM, the alarm will be triggered 30 minutes after sunrise.
The alarm has the severity “normal” because the incident occurred less than 12 hours before.
