On the Profile settings page, you can see the following:

Your Username: This is displayed to admins and user managers on the Users page and to admins in the Notifications.

Why can I not change my username myself?

The username is the unique identifier in mc Cloud. Your username serves as the unique identifier for your account within mc Cloud. It is used to link your account to permissions, roles, and connected services. To ensure data integrity and system consistency, usernames cannot be changed after the account has been created. If your personal information changes, please update your profile details instead.

Your username is the unique technical identifier of your account. It is used for authentication, integration with connected applications, and for linking your account to permissions. To ensure data consistency, traceability, and reliable operation, you can not change the username yourself after the account has been created.

If a username change is absolutely required, please contact our Support.

You can see and as well change the following:

Your Email address: It is used to activate and verify your account, as well as to update your password and to receive confirmation emails, reminders, warnings, and error messages concerning your account.
Your First and Last name: It is needed for identification purposes. It is also displayed to admins and user managers on the Users page.

Steps

To reach the Profile settings page, select your avatar in the top bar > Profile settings.
Change the desired data. You must re-authenticate yourself when updating your email address.
Select Save changes.

The changes are updated now.
