Virtual system

A virtual system (plant) allows you to:

  • Combine several systems into one without physically consolidating all the data loggers into a single system. For example, you can view systems simultaneously and map the specific yield.

  • Divide a system into several parts. For example, you can view specific parts of a large system.

Limitations of virtual systems

Virtual plants can only show the following:

  • Energy production and irradiance

  • Inverter data

The following devices can not be displayed or used for KPI calculation:

  • PPC

  • Meter

  • Battery

  • Tracker

Tips for setting up a virtual system

We recommend the following:

  • To create a virtual system, give it a clear designation, such as "System XYZ Virtual."

  • For the address, choose a latitude and longitude that represents a central point among all the systems.
