Savings CO2 equivalent portlet

You can display your CO₂ compensation values at the portfolio or system level using the Savings CO₂ equivalent portlet.

Set up the Savings CO₂ equivalent portlet

Prerequisites

• At least one system must be set up

Steps

1. At either the portfolio or system level, add the Savings CO₂ equivalent portlet.

2. The standard emission factor is 0.596 kg/kWh. You can enter a different value if desired by selecting the Wrench icon.

3. Display in portlet:

CO₂ savings = 0.596 * generated kWh

This means the kWh generated by your entire portfolio or system to date

Planted trees = CO₂ savings in kg / 10.55

10.55 kg CO₂ savings are equivalent to one tree
