Browser recommendations for VCOM Cloud

In general, we support the usage of the following browsers. Make sure to use browser versions that are still actively supported by the vendor and that did not reach end of life (EOL):

(tick) Chromium

Recommendation

We recommend using the browsers Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox for the best performance.

The following browsers are not supported, which means we do not provide support if you experience problems using them:

❌ Opera

❌ Internet Explorer 6-11

❌ Samsung Internet

❌ QQ Browser

New user: first login

Prerequisites
  • The meteocontrol sales team or your admin has created a new user for your email address.

Steps
  1. Check your inbox for an automated welcome email containing your username and a link for individual password setup.

  2. Navigate to the link.

  3. Enter a new password and confirm it. Passwords should include at least eight characters, a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

Warning

Take notice of our Password guideline, when setting a password.

  1. If password setup is successful, you will be redirected to VCOM, where you can now access all its features and resources.

  2. The next time you log in, you can access the portal via https://www.meteocontrol.com/ > Login.

Note

If you have a long-running session (over 1 week), you may receive the error message "Your session has expired, please login again". To remedy the issue, log in from a new browser window and the page should show up correctly.

Reset password

  1. Follow this link to reset your password: https://www1.meteocontrol.de/vcom/user-recovery .

  2. Enter your User name and confirm the query.

  3. You should receive an email with further instructions for resetting your password.
